The Sensorium is a state of the art sensory room designed for the modern era. It may be a technological marvel but it's simple and intuitive design is completely accessible to even the most tech adverse. It's centred on user outcomes and benefits and has an elegantly designed touch screen interface for personalised control and experience. You can also turn the room into a mini cinema by adding any streaming platforms such as NETFLIX, AMAZON PRIME, SPOTIFY, ITUNES etc.

The room boasts an impressive 360 degrees of sound and visuals (HD or 4K) that create a truly immersive environment. We bring nature to life like you’ve never seen before - visit monks in Nepal, paddle board on the ocean, fly in space or swim with dolphins. Yet the Vibrasonic floor is really the star of the show. The vibrations create such a deep and physical connection to the music and nature sounds it’s hard to believe. The tactility creates a more visceral experience for the users, it is either calming or stimulating depending on the audio source. To those with sensory issues we have found the vibrations are extremely beneficial in the quality of their experience. It allows the content to become more defined, more 3D, which has massive benefits in its effects in either calming or stimulating the users. 

We have a wide range of content suitable for everyone. The 360 interactive environments really encourage movement and play and with 4 cameras they pick up on even the smallest of movements. The interactive menu encourages movement, hand eye co-ordination and cause and effect experiences, especially for those with limited physical ability. You can play with virtual paint in a 360 degree environment, catch fishes or follow magical moving objects on all four walls. We are always continuing to improve and add to our menus so new games will be available via subscription. 

The room is designed to accommodate wheel chairs and the installation of a ceiling hoist so it is a completely inclusive solution. We appreciate the uniqueness of our users so every experience is customisable, you can adjust the vibration and musical volume separately, choose whatever music, games or visuals you want. We even have a colour palette to simply create a colour filled room that an individual user may find particularly soothing, reducing anxiety and either return or maintain the user in the calm zone.

We designed the room to be as realistic as possible, so we incorporated moving air to simulate wind, a faux grass floor for sensory grounding and an aroma unit to connect the experience with smell. We’re not trying to replace nature (that’s impossible) but to bring the most authentic simulation possible for those who can’t access many of the most beautiful and fascinating environments and experiences. Our mission is to make sensory rooms that create a truly magical world for persons living with various cognitive and physical disabilities.
